This Privacy Policy explains how My Insights GmbH, trading as My Insights Books ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit myinsightsbooks.com, purchase a digital product, or sign up to receive a free download or newsletter.

3. Who processes your data on our behalf
We use the following service providers ("processors"). Each is bound by appropriate data-protection terms.
- Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC, United States): payment processing and merchant of record for digital sales. Privacy policy.
- AWeber (AWeber Systems Inc., United States): email list and newsletter delivery. Privacy policy.
- Infomaniak (Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland): website hosting and email.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): anonymised usage analytics, only if you consent to non-essential cookies.
Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
4. How long we keep your data
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe (every email contains an unsubscribe link).
- Customers: the duration of the legal retention period for accounting documents (10 years under Swiss law).
- Analytics: aggregated and anonymised; raw events retained no longer than 14 months.
5. Your rights
Under Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with the supervisory authority of your EU country.

6. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to make the site work and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the consent banner. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Children
Our products are designed for parents and educators of children, not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: TLS encryption in transit, restricted internal access, and reputable providers for hosting and payments. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Substantive changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
